susandennisThe A/C work will be done by one firm. The aftermath will be fixed by another. Every time you do anything in this building, requiring work crews, you have to get permission from the board. Both jobs are being done by firms recommended by the building manager. So I filled out the stupid form and gave them a $500 deposit for the A/C work. When I received the approval, I repeated the process for the fix it work.
Today I get a call from the building manager (who, quite honestly, can piss me off at hello). "you can just make an addendum to the original request and then submit the xxx and yyy it saves on paperwork." WTF?? I don't remember the acronyms he used because I've never heard them. Turns out they are his code for paperwork that he already has on file because I used firms he recommended. When I asked how he wanted the amendment, he said to send an email.
5 emails later - so we save paperwork but byte are wasted left and right - I have permission. I only care because I do not want him or the board on my ass for something stupid.
But he called just when the stupid and not-very-good Nationals scored the winning runs against us after a long and frustrating game so I took it out on him. Yep, I gave this kid who has power over me and my home, lip because my team lost.
I am so fucking mature.
And, while I'm dealing attitude... a restaurant I used to like a lot just sent an email saying how they are now Family Friendly!!!! Fuck. Guess I've eaten there for the last time. It is kind of noisey anyway but with high pitched out of control kid voices??? Thanks no.
And a just saw a tweet about a dream vacation cottage - off the grid. Not my dream.

And all of this happened when my lap was full of Julio. If I were a mature 73 year old, I'd focus on this instead of being so bitchy!
