I'm ready and encouraged

My nephew says he's feeling better but still testing positive. His wife, however, is still testing negative which is kind of miraculous. They are due to get on the plane Tuesday and his plan is to be negative by then. My brother's plans aren't changed. He'll be flying in Tuesday and staying here.

So today I went back to 'his' room to see what needed to be tidied. Yikes! For one thing there was cat hair everywhere. I had put a blanket over the bed but, apparently, the cats free lanced a little and there was enough hair to make a whole nother cat. So everything got washed. Sheets on the bed. Clean bedding and this time I put a clean blanket over it all. Hopefully, it will stay welcoming for the next two days. I also vacuumed and moved stuff around to make room and emptied the closet so he'll have hanging room.

It looks nice. I need to robovac the living room tomorrow and go get milk for coffee.

Nothing like having company to get the place shaped up!

Julio has a hiding place that I can't find. I'm pretty sure it's in one of the bedroom closets and if I went in there and stomped around and called out, he'd come out to see what was happening. But, heck, I'll let him have his secret at least for a little bit.

I think if I actually brushed my love seat with the cat hair sponge, I'd have enough to make another cat as well.

My husband has now had the plague twice but, so far, he's not given it to me on either occasion. I just throw him in the spare room and leave food out for him (also we have air filters). So it can be done ;)

My middle granddaughter had Covid in July without passing it on to either of her sisters or either of her parents, even the parent who stayed in the room with her the whole time.

S's grandson William also had Covid earlier this month without anybody else in his family getting it.
