And now it's just us

My brother is in the sky. And I am back home. It was a fabulous visit.

Last night, we made up for the crappy dinner of a couple of nights ago. The Metropolitan Grill is a place where the food is amazing, the ambiance is totally wonderful, you can hear people talking but not eve well enough to eavesdrop, the background music fits the experience and the service makes you feel like the most pampered people of all time. It was heaven. I think it's going to have to be a MustGo for all future visits. It just restores the soul.

Then we came home and watched the Mariners win on TV while Bill multi tasked with tennis on his laptop. It was lovely.

Now I'm doing the first of biscillion loads of laundry. Actually, I am doing the second. Bill has this marvelous trick while he's packing his bags for home. He takes the sheets off the bed and the towel/washcloth out of the bathroom and tosses it all into the washer. Today he even started it! So I came home to laundry already started!!

The Mariner game is at 1.

He's a good brother, you are a good sister. I hate it when my visitors go home, I always miss them.

We are good with limits. Our Mom had the greatest trick/joke. When you got to her house for a visit, there were fresh bananas on the counter. She said that when the bananas started past their ripe, the visit needed to be over.

Bill was ready to see his dog and get back to his routine. And, me, too.

We're good til the banana goes, then we're satisfied.
