So... today, I get an email about post game single ticket purchases. It took me a few times to read through the gloopy Marketing messages and the convoluted sentence structures to understand that...

As a current Diamond Club Member, a week from today, at 1 pm I can shop for post game single tickets with other Diamond Club members and nobody else for one hour.

In other words, I get first crack. (The next couple of hours are also open to other premium season ticket holders so I'll have a while to shop without frantics.) No clue about pricing or availability. I'm guessing escalating pricing (first round cheapest, World Series most expensive) and all seats not scooped up in packages (like I was offered and refused) will be available.

This is a true bene. I plan to hop on line and see what's avail. How much is a single Diamond Club ticket? How much is a single ticket in my next preferred location. Are actual single tickets even available?

I'll be shopping and maybe buying and maybe not but at least this is way more up my alley than $4500 for a seat I don't want.

Of course, by this time next week, they may be totally out of the running.

Ha!

Ticket pricing for the playoffs and series is always insane. Pat and I don't even pretend to look at them.

Not likely; they're currently 4 games ahead of the Orioles.
