Nailing the survey

The safeway software would not show the tracking on my computer on my phone. it wouldn't even let me sign in on my phone.

A phone number from Pennsylvania called and talked to me in spanish saying No English No English. I said No Spanish. and hung up.

Another number from Pennsylvania called - still no English but I did hear Door Dash and decided to go downstairs and see. Sure enough, standing just next to the Call Box which would let me buzz him in, was No English - saying "Door Dash" and having my Safeway order. (No where in the process did Safeway mention Door Dash would deliver.)

The point of home delivery is to have the groceries delivered to my home.

But, instead I got to schlep the shit up here myself. Happily Safeway was quite prompt with the "How Did We Do????" survey.

I am so sick of these surveys. Especially the ones where I'm guilted into giving all maximum ratings lest whatever employee I dealt with suffer. But also the consumption of my time for no apparent benefit to me - often those surveys are carefully crafted so that I can't tell them what the problem is even if I have some major burning issue. And when I start a survey, I never know whether it will be one of that kind.

I feel nearly exactly opposite. If the service is great or sucks, I want to tell them so I'm glad they ask. If it's meh, I don't usually do the survey.

Tell them the cold honest truth. If they did a good job that yay! If not, hit the highway!

My neighbor's groceries have repeatedly been delivered to my front door, which then means I have to carry them over to her house because she recently broke her foot.

I hear about this kind of thing all the time which is why I don't use delivery services.
