susandennisI don't think my swimming mojo is gone but it is clearly on the Injured List. I had planned to swim this morning but yesterday afternoon, for some very strange reason, I got all stressed about it. When I decided that I didn't have to swim if I didn't want to, a huge weight was lifted.
Yes, I totally get how stupid that is but that's how my old brain works. This morning I woke up and decided I didn't wanna. I was having coffee, waiting until time to suit up and leave, and I thought, you know, I'd rather treadmill. So I did.
I'd carefully banked Jeopardys but turns out I don't have Thursday's. Weird. No clue what happened. I do have a bunch of reruns saved on TiVo so I guess I'd better watch those and save the YouTube.TV ones for when I get rid of TiVo. I can use the treadmill without Jeopardy but who wants to??
After the treadmill, I showered and headed to West Seattle since I had a couple of things to do over there anyway.
First up breakfast. There's a diner-y place that I tried a few years ago when they first opened. The food was really meh and the service was horrible. But they are still there and have decent reviews so ... I had eggs over corned beef hash and extra crispy hash browns and damn if it wasn't delicious!! The service was still slow but the food was too tasty to ignore. I'll be back and soon.
Then on to my errands which were fine and then home. Where the cats were waiting for me by the front door.
I really have no other plans for the rest of the day. TV and crochet. And staying cool. Weirdly, it's getting warm again. It's supposed to be in the 80's on Monday. At least now we have way more cool and dark to balance out the sun and hot.
Oh Interesting Real Estate. This condo - downstairs from me - sold in 2019 for $610,000.. They put it up for sale in June for $648,000. But, apparently, got no takers. They dropped the price every month since and now have it listed for $598. It's smaller than mine so their special assessment, due November 1, will be $10,600. It's the only unit for sale in the building. And still they can't seem to sell. I don't know the owners but their timing does suck.
