What doin', Monkey?

susandennisMy Mom's grandchildren called her Monkey and my brother's sons, when they were little, would follow her around and tilt their little heads and ask, so sweetly, "What doin', Monkey?". It was adorable and became our family's equivalent of 'what's up?'
Julio follows me everywhere and when I stop, he stops and tilt's his little head and the "What doin', Monkey" is for sure implied.
He's such a water baby. He will run in from a dead sleep if he hears me washing dishes or turn on the shower. And, we all know, his love of knocking down any and every glass of water.
They both slept with me a lot of the night last night (making a hot night, a bit hotter, but fine). I wondered where they spent the rest of the night and remembered this morning to look at the cams.
Each took a corner.
I went to Amazon Fresh only to find a note on the door that they were closed and would be open tomorrow at 7. Weird. Especially weird after it was leaked yesterday that Amazon is putting a hiring freeze on retail. They'd better not fuck with my Amazon Fresh store.
I went to QFC (Kroger) instead and so spent way more money. But I did find the oddest grapes. I've never seen them before and they are delicious and fun. Moondrop Grapes They look like old lady droopy boobs.
When I drove by the stadium on the way home, I saw a huge crowd waiting to get in. Way more than usual. So I guess maybe the stupid game isn't as stupid as I thought if all those people are that excited for it. But, if another one of our players gets hurt, it's back to stupid.
