Not a nothing day

susandennisThe day started with a text from Dinnerly that my package was out for delivery with a link to track it. I clicked on the link to learn it had been delivered at 6:30.
I went downstairs and saw my box just barely in the open vestibule being looked at by a couple of random dudes who ran when I opened the door.
Poor Dinnerly, it's not my 'last mile' that they can't get it's my 'last yard'. It's not worth the delivery hassle so I cancelled.
Next up was an email from Google. My watch and phone have shipped!!!!! And of all the shipping services they could have picked (and, have picked in past years), they picked the best for me. UPS. The tracking number isn't showing details yet but I'm refreshing that sucker every 5 mins. My guess is that it will be Thursday but I'm hoping so much for tomorrow.
It looks like my Fitbit is going to last until the watch gets here but not without constant checking and coddling.
I went to Amazon this morning to see what deals I needed to take advantage of with their sale. Then I looked at a couple of blogs which list the coolest stuff on sale there and nothing not any thing was of any interest to me.
But, of course, the BFD du jour. The Mariner game. At noon. Today. They start the best of five series today. Game 2 isn't until Thursday.
Baseball in October is weird. If this current series goes to four games, the fourth game will be held on Sunday in Seattle at 1 pm - one block from a Seahawks home game.. at 1 pm. I'm pretty sure the 'hood can't handle it. And I'm equally sure the city, the Mariners, the Seahawks and a few dozen others are in talks right now about what to do.
I think I'll go get dressed and get game ready.
Biggie thinks I'll fill his puzzle before I do.
Julio is resting up. He's the very first batter in today's game.
