8/27/2022 - Julio came to live here
10/11/2022 - Julio is finally big enough to get up on top of the cabinet - to Biggie's spot.
Hilariously, Biggie tattled on him. I realized that Julio had been in the living room and then he was not. So I looked around and Biggie was on the couch standing pointer dog style. I followed his stare and, yep, there Julio was on top of the cabinet.
And then he got to exploring... And discovered that the farther he went, the fewer good getting down options there were.
I tried to make a landing out of a stack of books but he wasn't having it. Biggie was circling around my feet watching Julio. After a long while, Biggie went around to the kitchen and I heard some thumps and then they were both on the ground in the hall. I'm guessing Biggie showed him the wall>fridge>counter>floor path.
Biggie got lots of treats last night. Julio got the plants that were on top the cabinet moved to another location.
So far this morning, Julio seems content with the top rung of the cat tree. And Biggie is here on my lap.
My new phone and watch won't be here until tomorrow. They will likely arrive about the same time as the first pitch.
The air quality is finally good enough to take my lungs outside. I don't know that I necessarily want to but they won't be unhappy if I do.
I connected with a couple of the sisters of my friend Howard who died last week. They are in Las Vegas to deal with his stuff. I do not envy them one tiny bit. He was afraid of dying and I'm pretty sure had done absolutely zero in terms of planning for it. Ugh.
Nothing particular on the agenda. I may go do some errands. I may do some laundry. I might not do either one. Happily, there's no reason I need to do anything!
