Today's the day

UPS will be bringing me my new phone and watch around noon. And that's also the start time (12:37) of the next Mariner playoff game. I'm ready for the watch and phone but not for another Mariner loss. But all will be here soon.

The air was good yesterday morning but the smoke came back yesterday afternoon and this morning it's solidly in the range of Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups. I'm a card carrying member of those groups. So I am glad I don't have to go outside.

I finally burned through all the old Jeopardys on my TiVo and so now have a healthy supply stacked up on YouTube.TV. I think it's about two week's worth. This is for the daily treadmill. My plan will hit a speedbump come tourney time but i'll deal. I like having a savings account.

And speaking of banking...

The feds announced that I'm getting a raise! My social security payment is going up a hefty 8.7% percent next year. Woot! They are saying it's a cost of living increase but I think that's just HR covering their ass. We all know, at least in my case, it's a performance increase.

Amazon now carries some Blue Apron meals. They are pricey but that's a pretty handy way to do meal kits for sure.

Ok, time to get dressed and get ready for tech and baseball.

The Blue Apron thing is an interesting choice for both companies. HEB tried to sell some Hello Fresh meals for a while but I guess they were not successful as they no longer have them.
At least you will bet better delivery.

The Amazon listings seem so expensive even though they aren't that much more expensive than Dinnerly. I do wonder who Amazon will use for delivery. But not enough to spend the bucks...yet.

nope. it's linked to the whims of Congress only. (fortunately a LOT of Congress is still old and on social security... )
