susandennisToday is the first home game of Playoff Mariners and since it also could be the last home game of Playoff Mariners, this town plans to make it one of the Biggest of Big Fucking Deals.
I just saw a tweet of tailgaters setting up down the road. It is 8:30. The game starts at 1. They are acting like football fans!
Two dudes are walking from Mill Creek to the ball park. Mill Creek is 20 miles north of here. So it's downhill but still.
Everybody under the age of 25 has "waited my whole life for this" according to their tweets.
The smoke is way worse this morning than it has been. It's not going to be fun to sit in but really could be a bitch for the players to play in.
I realized last night that I was totally out of bread and a few other grocery-ish things. No way am I getting the car out today because the game traffic will be horrible. Also tomorrow. Even if we don't win today and so don't play tomorrow, the Seahawks do play tomorrow. Traffic. And smoke.
So last night I placed an order on Amazon. For an 8-10 am delivery today.
Except this morning I discovered that like an idiot, I forgot to hit 'purchase'. There was still a delivery window open from 10-noon so I grabbed it. Sorry, delivery person. If you are nice and you actually get here, there's a bigger tip for you.
Meanwhile on the new watch front. I love it. I have it all set up, I think, to do what I want, when. And it's pretty cool. It operates smoothly doing all the stuff I want. Setting a timer is really easy. I have a package coming from Amazon this morning and my watch just told me it was out for delivery and showed a photo of the order. I'm a little worried about the battery but that will settle out once I quit fiddling with it.
And the phone is also now set up like I want it.

Julio and Biggie are sharing/fighting over the top run of the cat tree. Ooo ok Biggie just gave up and moved down a rung. And Julio is now swatting at him.
