susandennisI'm trying an experiment today. I like Diet Dr. Pepper but I only like the 16 oz or 20 oz bottles. Not the cans and not the giant bottles. But I don't like hauling it from store to car and car to kitchen (up stairs, across parking lot, up elevator).
Amazon Fresh used to have it available with delivery but not in a while.
Safeway has it listed but I know from past experience, they will either substitute (cans) or just delete it from order most of the time.
This week the 16 oz 6-packs are on sale there so... I ordered 6 of them to be delivered. And checked NO substitutions. And did not add anything else to the order. I don't know how they will handle it if they have less than 6 but more than 0. My delivery window is today 1-5. We'll find out then!
Today the smoke numbers are high but not as high as they have been recently nor as high as they are predicted for today but outside, it looks like really bad smog this morning.
The good news is that starting Thursday, it will be gone. We have five days of rain predicted. Glorious, clean, cooling, rain. I'm so hoping to have to pull out my comforter and maybe even put on socks.
It really isn't good for me to take my lungs out into that smoke but I'm also using it as an excuse to sit. I know I should get out and move or even stay in and move beyond my Jeopardy treadmill sessions. But I don't wanna.
I have a couple of things on my Goodwill shopping list. I need bacon from Costco. I need a couple of grocery items that mean going to West Seattle.
And I am not going to do any of those things today. Maybe tomorrow. Today I have crochet and TV and that's what I'm going to do.
The cats want to show you their butts - especially Biggie. Julio just wants to go on record as securing the top perch this morning.
