I rarely shop with anyone and forget the major benefits. Especially, if that someone is Frank. He sees stuff I don't and remembers stuff I forget and is great to quickly and efficiently evaluate stuff with. Plus, he's good company.

We cut a fine swath through Costco this morning.

And I just had a perfectly delicious Costco meatloaf sandwich for lunch. I thought their meatloaf was just meh but it comes with their mashed potatoes which are awesome so I gave it another shot. I'm REALLY glad I did. It's better than meh.

I ended up getting way more than I planned on and nearly forgot bacon (but I had Frank "I wasn't going to let you forget that!") But, unlike when I shop alone, I got all good stuff and nothing I don't need or want.

My Costco visa did not work which puzzled me. I used another visa but also figured out the Costco Visa issue when I got home so it will work fine next time. But I lost nearly a $1 in cash back!

It's a cool and rainy* day and it felt wonderful. *It's a Seattle rainy, meaning not hard rain, not fast rain, just a nice rain that's only a notch above a drizzle.

Now I need to put away the rest of the Costco and then take make that dumpster run I didn't make yesterday and then I can take the rest of the day off.

Seattle rain is generally just drizzly from what I've experienced. I know people like it, but I prefer the sun. This is why I live in Florida. (grin)

When it rains like that down here I welcome people to the PNW.

I find a shopping buddy just breaks my concentration, but for my mother I'm Frank. On her own she walks into a shop, glances round for a few seconds from the doorway and decides there's nothing there.
