susandennisIt's long sleeve time. So when I got out of the shower, I swapped closets. Long sleeves in the main closet and short sleeves in the closet behind the treadmill - i.e. hard to get to.
I thought I had culled the the long sleeve collection last Spring and boy did I! Yousa! I still have plenty - bordering on too many - but a whole lot less than I did. The closet is half empty. I am proud. I will be sick of them by June but now, they all feel like new clothes.
Helicopters have been providing non stop background music. I hope they got a good shot of the proceedings.
And, miracle of miracles, I finally got an investment statement from SteveTheLawyer. There are two different investment accounts but at least now I have one. I sent it off to my financial advisor. Maybe there's a chance we can actually get this estate settled before it has to roll over into my own estate!
I do feel like we're making progress, at least. I hope.
An anonymous commenter just left a comment on another entry that so rings true. They said that they were being innundated bye junk because they once donated to a political candidate who shared their contact info with the whole freakin' party.
YES to this!! I won't even sign up for a politicians mailing list for this very reason. I also am very careful how I donate any money to anything. My preference is to hide it (Thank you, Amazon Smile and Amazon gift lists), or to hand over cash.
I have not donated to NPR in more than a decade and still, every month, I get snail spam from them. They could hire really good people instead of the twinkies they now have on staff with all the money they've wasted sending me shit. Ditto lots of other places.
