My regular doctor and my lung doctor are in a gynormous group here called the Polyclinic. I actually found my regular doctor about 15 years ago by writing an email to the Polyclinic asking for help in finding a personal physician. I got tremendous service. And mostly it's been that way ever since.

Mid-COVID, it got a little dicey. I tried to call once and had a horrible time getting through. I've had a billing issue that's been troublesome and may or may not be solved.

I get a couple of local news round up emails every morning that gather Seattle news from different places. This morning, one of them had a piece about how the Polyclinic has gone totally off the rails. Not answering the phone, not answering emails, making promises and not keeping them.

Ugh. Happily, I don't need them much but I sure don't want to switch horses. I did go onto MyChart and requested an appointment with my lung nurse practitioner for January. I'll need a new inhaler prescription and I need her to listen to my breathing and make sure it's not as bad as I think it might be getting. I figure, even if they are in as dire straights as it sounds, two months is enough lead time.

While I was in MyChart, I checked my vaccine records. They get updates from the state. My latest booster isn't in there. So I went to the state and, sure enough, they had it listed - make, lot and date. So I got the new list/QR code from them. I like to keep it on my phone just in case.

Last night at 9 pm (way too late to be calling) I got a call from the Polyclinic's parent organization. They send me a postcard a month telling me to set up my free in home nurse visit. Why? No Clue. But, no need and no want. The call last night was from a nice lady asking if tomorrow would be convenient for the nurse to visit. NFW. With my sweetest voice I told her I was not interested and missed her complete response because I hung up.

I am double rich today. My $12k check to the HOA hit their books last night. I had it sent via bill pay. But, the credit union hasn't debited my account yet. It's like reverse check kiting.

Today will be a trip to Amazon Fresh. I have returns and I need apples. Some laundry could be done. And the cat toy situation in this room has gotten out of control. Again.

So, my usual, rigorous agenda.

The weather is in my sweet spot. Cool and cloudy. I'm perfectly fine if the sun and its glare wait until next July to reappear.

Boy do I agree with that. The media is moaning the lack of sun here today for The Prez's visit. He went to Law School here, lived here for those years. His late wife taught school here. He knows what the weather is like I doubt he'll be surprisec.

Ugh, that sucks the level of care where you go has gone down.

I wish where I went used MyChart. It would be so helpful.

I don't blame you; I wouldn't want home health care either but it is beneficial for those who do need it.

Enjoy the rest of your day :)

I am a *big* fan of the myChart app!

When I was scheduled for a visit with a specialist to look at my hand, they gave me an appointment 2.5 months out. But the myChart app lets you say "put me on a waiting list" - and when I did that, I got pinged the next day with an offer of an appointment 8 days later!

You inspired me to go to MyChart, but I can't seem to schedule my yearly "well baby" exam. I hate how hard it is to get through to a human being from a voice menu. Oh, well! Needs must.

Glad your weather has improved. Hope the air quality does, too.
