It's a lovely quiet morning here. Biggie is asleep on the cat tree and Julio is exploring - looking for stuff to knock over. He's actually being a little too quiet and is in the part of the kitchen not covered by cams. (This will be fixed as Wyze had some refurbs on sale for $20 and I snagged one.)

Still no word from finance guy or SteveTheLawyer. I have an overactive sense of doing what I'm asked in a timely fashion and an underactive amount of patience with those who don't. It's my issue, not theirs but still. GRRRRRR

I marinated my foot over night in the gel sock. It's not that much better. I thought it was going to prevent me from treadmilling but turns out it was fine. I have very squishy treadmill shoes and they protected. More marinating today.

Also today some sewing. I have two shirts I want to tweak so they will be more comfortable. I'm going to do that today.

I am pretty sure I am going to ignore the World Series which starts today because the stupid Astros will dominate and win. But, if the Phillies look alive, that could change.

I think I'll go take a shower and get on with that sewing.

I admire anyone who can sew. I've been hanging onto a couple of patterns that are exactly what I like to wear, but I haven't sewn since junior high. I am envious!

Well, you would only have had to stay up until a little past 9:30 last night to see the Phillies continue their improbable ride. It was clear after three innings that the Astors, as predicted, were going to ride roughshod over the Phillies; and the, after that, it wasn't.

Yep. I did a score check and it was 5-5 in the 5th. Then, just before I went to sleep, I turned on the TV and caught the final inning. sweet. Take that you stupid snotty cheating astros!
