susandennisThere's a decent bagel place between here and the Amazon drop off spot. The problem is that parking, going in, ordering, waiting - it's a PIA. They have a nice online ordering deal which makes it fabulous but about half the time their online ordering is unavailable.
Today I wanted a sandwich but not enough to put up with their stand and wait situation and online ordering was unavailable so I took my Amazon back and pulled into the drive thru across the street from the bagel place. I now have a sweet box of 16 mini Krispy Kreme donuts! Hey, they are round and have holes just like bagels and far easier to get.
As I was getting home, SamTheFriend called. He wanted to chat about SteveTheLawyer's latest email. He's the sweetest guy. A nice part of my cousin's inheritance. We discussed SteveTheLawyer's tenuous grasp on the calendar and his propensity to talk a better game than he plays and we both agree he's means well. It's actually lovely to have a partner in crime and one who gets it.
I started a new book last night - Relentless by Shawn Wilson. So far it's a good story read by a guy who sounds like he learned to read yesterday and is still working on some of the finer points. It's the opposite of the melodramatic readers who make me crazy so I'm dealing. So far the story is worth it anyway.
On TV HBO has a new second season of Sort Of. I watched the first season and found it enchanting. So I'm delighted with a second season. But, first, I decided to watch the first season again. I generally hate rewatching but not this time.
Lunch is cookin' and I'm starvin' - it's a perfect match.
