So, I'm not sure the high priced stuff I got on Friday is as good as I thought OR I still don't have the measuring correct. This morning's pot was good but just not coffee enough. Trials continue.

Julio is now glued to the front of the TV. While the front door is on, he's up and watching. But, while regular programming is on, he's lying down. Right in front of the spot that the remote 'talks' to. Last night I had to fire up the phone app to operate the TV (it works on bluetooth so doesn't need line of sight). I'm sure he'll find a new spot eventually so it's fine.

Washington state health officials are recommending that we put our masks back on while this round of flu and COVID winds its way through the populous. Fine by me. I wore one when I went to the grocery on Sunday and I'd say maybe half the people I saw were wearing one, too. For me, wearing one when I go out is nobigdeal but remembering to wear one when I go down to get a package or take the garbage is hard to remember. BUT being with an infected person in those tiny elevators... I really don't want to get sick.

Yesterday, I cleaned out the last remaining junk drawer in the kitchen. It also cleared off some counter clutter which was a nice bonus. I have a couple of more decluttering ideas that may get accomplished today.

Someone on my reading page talked about watching the movie Leisure Seeker (2017) Donald Sullivan and Helen Mirren. I'm not a fan of movies. But I had Amazon ebucks to spend it sounded interesting. Old people dealing with old people stuff. I thought it was just excellent. Hopeful and heartwarming and satisfying. I don't even like Donald Sullivan much but he was really fabulous in this.

I'm having a hard time finding my next audio book. I so appreciate audible.com's return policy. I was 3 hours into the one I finally kicked to the curb last night. I took a whole new tact with this new one. I'm only 30 mins in so too early yet to know.

Now I am just looking for ways to put off/eliminate my already pitiful little stint on the treadmill.

I've noticed more people are donning masks again where I live. I've also noted a lot more people coughing. Of course, the correlation between those wearing masks & those coughing isn't one & the same. It definitely causes my heart rate to increase.

I hope you're able to get the right coffee combo.

I also enjoyed The Leisure Seeker, very much. The critics were wrong on this one (38%).

Now I have another update I can make to letterboxd so I'm happy you mentioned this one.

A hint I tried to mellow out coffee flavor is to add just a *tiny* amount of salt on the grounds - not even a whole pinch. I think it helps.

Heh. I just finished watching a really classy horror film called "You're Next". It was unreal how intricate and yes gory it was.

I'd also liked The Leisure Seeker. I think a lot of critics are too young to get it.
