Me and Julio not down in the school yard

I recently decommissioned a box/drawer and decided it would be a good cat toy box. It replaced two much smaller and inefficient vessels. It holds everything, it's tidy looking and Julio can get in and play.

BUT he can also retrieve what he needs out of the box. First are the sticks. He currently has five different stick toys. He carries them all over the house. They were all in the box yesterday. There are none in there now. He tried to put them in the donut tunnel so most of them are now lying next to it.



Now he's going after other stuff. He takes stuff out and I put it back. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I did go out and got everything done I wanted to. The new pet store is very big and bright with half the cat stuff that the tiny dark store has and no parking. But I had a $22 credit and the bag of Biggie's favorite dry food was $22.05. They at least waived the nickel. If/when I go back, it will be to the tiny dark store.

No place I went this morning was overly crowded but I just saw a tweet from someone shopping at the fancy market and it is apparently, after yesterday's Day of Ice, packed to the gills and just nuts. I'm so glad I didn't wait and got my shopping done earlier.

Now I am home and lunched with plenty of good food, two hilarious cats and no frozen pipes (sorry, bro) and even a good new series to watch - Netflix's The Recruit.

I think Biggie must have been explaining to him how great stick toys are. I hope he never attempts to play with Stickie, however. There will be Trouble.

I am enjoying The Recruit. It’s not a fantastic show but seems fairly solid.
