I did get a little more sleep. Enough, apparently. I did a half treadmill. Since I'm out of fresh Jeopardy's I did a British quiz show whose name I cannot ever remember (on YouTube). I only did a little over 15 minutes because, you know, England. I'll do the other half tomorrow. Better than nothing.

I had a lovely lunch of salad, prime rib and fried okra. The fried chicken place does great fried okra BUT they never cook it crisp enough. 10 mins in the air fryer = perfect. And I had a piece of pecan pie. A very happy Christmas dinner which I had at 11.

Then I did laundry. It's mostly even all put away but Biggie snagged half of the last load when it came out of the dryer. He's sawin logs on it now. Julio is doing the same but in his normal spot on the sewing room bed.

A nice, lovely, Sunday/Christmas Day around here.

I found the same problem with our fried chicken place. The last time we went I got a large okra and it was HUGE. So I split it up into reasonable portions and froze it. Then pulled them out over time and air fried them. Turned out that that partially fried okra freezes well and cooks right up like mom used to make.

Exactly. The other half of my order is in the freezer already. A supremely delicious discovery.

Your lunch sounds delicious. I offered to make pecan pie for Xmas but the children wanted trifle. I'll make the pie for new year.
