It really IS a heatwave!

susandennisIt is 53 (13) degrees outside and 65 in here. I have to door to the terrace open a bit. It feels warmer than it actually is. When the low temperature is above like 30ish, I leave the sliding door to the outside open. This makes for comfortable sleeping but... about 5:45/6 am, the garbage guys come by to empty the dumpsters at the apartment building across the street. This is not a quiet operation.
Often I'm awake already but this morning I was not and realized that soon, with the new heat pump, I'd be able to leave the door closed if I wanted. This will be luxurious.
Now, however, it is quiet out. And that, I suspect, will be the story of the day. No plans. I'm in the final throws of a year long crochet project so there will be more slogging away there. I've got enough food for today and probably tomorrow.
I need to get onto the treadmill or maybe just put on my suit and go for a swim. Actually, I think I'll do this.
