Nice try but nope

The Metropolitan Market (aka fancy grocery) has a fair number of locations. They sell high end groceries, meats and prepared foods. But, I am learning, that each store has some core similarities and lots of differences.

My store is the one in West Seattle. Today I went to the one in Queen Anne. Queen Anne used to be a nice, fun neighborhood. It's the home to the Space Needle. But these days, it's home to fucked up one way streets, empty stores, ugly graffiti, lots of trash and blocked roads. It's closer to me than West Seattle but way more tedious to get to.

Their selection of prepared foods was about half of what West Seattle has. Their bakery selection was about a fourth.

But, I managed to get some meals and get home and learn my lesson. West Seattle from now on. I got home and put everything away which included dividing it up into serving portions and then sat down to rest. I soon realized I had not heard any kitty shenanigans so I looked up to see this:



Those are empty food bowls there on the counter between them. You don't need to speak cat to get the message.

That look they give you cut right through to your soul. I think it goes through walls too. When my cat looks at me like that, it makes my spine tingle.
