Julio's Great Adventure

susandennisSo, I'm coming out of the market, feeling very smug - I had collected delicious meals for the next 4 days for under $100. And the phone rang.
It was Jathan the building manager trying to track down who the loose cat on the 4h floor belonged to. He had sent an email I hadn't seen. I said "oh, I'm going to be so embarrassed if it was one of mine" knowing for sure it was not. They won't go out when I leave the door open.
But, sure enough, I checked my email
ARUGH!! I raced home to find Jathan and my neighbor across the hall outside my door. And Julio, who will barely let me even pick him up, resting happily in Jathan's arms! So embarrassed.
But, I made a very fun discovery. I went to Amazon with the intent of getting Jathan a thank you gift card. I did not want to send it to him electronically because all I have is his work email address and 1. I thought that was a little tacky and 2. he's not supposed to accept gifts. Lo and Behold, however, Amazon lets you print out a gift card! And use your own photo. So look what I made him!
Inside is the gift card code and a note from Julio promising to never do that again. Now I'm going to go slip it under his door.
