It's 1:20 and everyone is gone but the two electricians and one of them has gone to take stuff to the truck. The other one is finishing up with an outlet and then he'll be gone and I can have some lunch. I am starving!

[edit: turns out the others left because they can't do anything more until the electricians finish. they are both still here but working outside so i grabbed some noodles for lunch.]

I thought they would be here until 5 but nope. And that's fine. It looks like I'll have the afternoon for me. And tomorrow. I can do this.

They are pretty tidy and are cleaning as they go. There will be a lot of dust left but that will probably be it. They are a good crew and very good to Biggie and Julio. Who tried to help.



There ended up being two holes and they left them unattended for a bit.



While I calmly took a photo, one of the guys scrambled for tape.







Initially, I thought I'd paint them to match the wall but now, I'm wondering if I really want that. Maybe not.

I am glad to have my house back this afternoon.

I think i would put something heavy in front of the hole. biggie is very clever!

I had to laugh at Biggie with his head in the wall, that is exactly what any self-respecting cat would do!
We got a new rug last week that came in a long cardboard box. We'd had the rug out for all of about 2 minutes when there was Zeb emerging from one end of the box
