Gettin' Itchy

My knitting pattern has cables. I need a cable needle. I have probably 25 in this house. And I could not find one of them. But I did find that I have knitting/crochet shit in too many places. Any straight stick will work as a cable needle. My Mom used to use an old glass mercury thermometer. But this disorganization is inexcusable.

I'm gettin' that get-rid-of-shit and organize the rest itch. I have specifics in mind so I'm making my todo list here.

• Gather/inventory/organize all the yarn shit in the house.
  • Empty the ottomans of their yarn/projects/tools.
  • Empty the yarn draw of its yarn/projects/tools.
  • Get the container in the sewing room that has yarn shit.
• Cull the bejesus out of the fabric stash. I might sew again but maybe I won't. At a minimum I can tidy up that crap.
• Tidy the one bedroom closet. It doesn't need that much but it's just before getting out of hand.
• Empty the other bedroom closet of all the crap in there that I do not need. It has become 'the dump' and it needs to not be.
• Once all that is done, grid dust the house. 7 sections, do 1 section a day.

First up is the yarn. That will start Monday morning or maybe even tomorrow.
