My plans for the day were all about spending it at the vet's office. I was going to get up and shower and be ready to be there when they opened. I even set out my stuff to remember to take. Fun to see it this morning and know I don't need it.

We all slept very nicely last night. Besides no one getting sick, it was lovely to be able to have the door closed. I could hear the trucks emptying the dumpsters at 6 but it was only a very dim bumping instead of a loud banging of metal on metal.

Soooo no vet means new plan. Definitely a shower. I am weekend grimy. But first the treadmill. Then probably laundry. And then, I'm not sure. I still have freezer food so no trip to the market. I still have two organization projects. Both small. So maybe I'll just bang those suckers out today.

Then the big one. My fabric stash and sewing room. I don't see any sewing projects in the near future but I'm not ready to say forever. I do like having the sewing machine and serger set up so I can whip in and do tiny fixes and things. But, I think I can cull out enough stuff so that the room looks tidier always. And I know I can give Goodwill a lot of the fabric stash.

But, I might save that project for another time. I'd like to get it done before my brother's next visit in March. So there's time.

This condo is 1,300 square feet. Sometimes that feels huge and sometimes so small. I'd love to have a place - like a garage - where I could store shit. But, I am so very grateful that I do not have any place - like a garage - to accumulate stuff. hahaha

Garages can be nice, but also have a bad tendency of overfilling. I don't blame you for being grateful not to have a garage at the moment

Yeah, I think you're right about the garage thing. I've seen too many people with storage lockers they're paying a lot for finally decide to clear them out and end up not keeping any of it. My theory is that if your shit overflows the space you have, you have too much shit. It's a thousand times easier to throw said shit out than find room for it. In fact you've made it into an art form!
