car's still here, inspector's still not

I did go to the city's website and plugged in my address to the permits/inspection's database and oohhlalal did some fun info spill out!!

I did see that Shane The Inspector is expected here today for the refrigeration inspection. So that was comforting.

But, also I saw all kinds of permits and stuff for my neighbors! I now know who else is getting/has gotten air conditioning recently. And I now know where to get inside info when I want details on the work my neighbors are having done.

Also, the contractor hasn't called which means if the inspector somehow gets pushed to tomorrow, it will still be fine.

My freezer food is getting down to the less than desirable. I think I'm going to end up tossing the little that does not meet my new criteria. It is wonderful, already, to want something and find it so easily.

The cats have been nuts all morning. Running and chasing and playing. The cams show that they are napping in their respective favorite spots. Julio on my brother's bed in the sewing room and Biggie under my bed.

Knitting and TV time for me.

I do a lot of car watching on my block. It's surprising how much suspense can build over car drama.

oooh - I checked to see if MY city permits were available online - and I found the permit that the HVAC guy filed on my behalf :D It's approved but waiting on being paid for, hah!

I also peeked at the other permits for people in my complex - the records go back to 2015 and there were about a dozen or so.
