A happy house
Jan. 26th, 2023 12:55 pmAfter my chores this morning, I happened to walk through the house putting the last of stuff away and I am just so pleased. Especially the sewing room was just messy and now it's not at all. The bedroom looks so nice and is functional. I can reach what I need to reach from where I need to reach it and it still looks tidy and nice.
There is stuff out - I'm looking at you, cat toys - but it does all have a place. If someone rang from downstairs, I could have the whole house neat as a pin before they got up here.
All the mess and chaos has now given way to temperature controlled silence and tidy. ahhhhh
And I heard from SteveTheLawer. His note was the usual, be patient it's coming. Instead of 'soon', this time, however, he used 'quickly'. hahaha
And my investments are gaining back everything they lost this week and then some. It's all funny money, I know but I like it when the funny money is green and not red.
I just threw out a half dozen USB A-micro USB cables. I have a shoebox of them and it is full and the clean out of the sewing room discovered more so I took out the best and tossed the rest. When my nephew and his wife were here in September, they needed better phone chargers. I have a few so I gave them a handful plus cables. I just went to put the chargers that I found in the sewing room and discovered that the few that were in there have procreated. Tech shit is the wire hangars of this generation. The more you throw away, the more you have.
And one final note that I want to mention. This week, I've been out a little - in stores and driving around and I have been very surprised by the number of people wearing masks. Way more than a few. In Costco, yesterday it was nearly 25% maybe even more. The younger people in this building are wearing them these days, too. Interesting.
