Yesterday on the treadmill, I felt something weird along side my knee. I ignored it. I felt it a couple of times yesterday and then last night, it hurt and it felt hot and tender to the touch. Just like tennis elbow.

So, guess who gets a pass on the treadmill for today??!! Yahoo!! I dug out the ice pack and iced it down last night and again this morning. I'll do that today and hopefully that will fix it. If not, I'll repeat tomorrow. I sure as shit do want to retain the painless use of that sucker.

I just read that it's snowing in downtown Seattle right now. It's not snowing here. I am on the south end of downtown. Must be warmer down here.

I started on Jan 1, making a 1 sec a day video of my life. Turns out, it was a 1 sec video of the cats (now, really, who is surprised?). My current plan is to make a 2023 video but probably also monthly. Here's January.

I do need to clean the shower floor. It looks fine while I'm in there taking a shower. But... yesterday, I was putting away some stuff and found the shower floor grips. The last time my brother was here, he mentioned that I needed to put more down. But, when I pulled back the shower curtain and got down onto my hands and knees to apply them, I discovered that the floor of the shower is disgustingly dirty!!! Note to self: leave it dark and don't get close. But now, I can't unsee. So it will be scrubbed today. Happily I have my long handled scrubber.

Then I'll put my feet up and ice my knee and tend to my knittin'.

When I was walking up Wallingford Ave this morning while it was still dark, I saw a few flakes, but right now looking out my big window at work, I don't see anything falling... but it feels cold enough. Luckily I'm keeping warm making 104 grill cheese sandwiches.

Got a question about that scrubber. It uses batteries, presumably. Is it easy to open the compartment and then reclose after inserting the batteries? I can no longer even change the batteries in my toothbrush, thanks to arthritis, so I need something really easy that takes no grip strength at all.

It does not use replaceable batteries. It's rechargeable (USB C). You unscrew the handle from the base and the little charge port is there. It shouldn't be too hard for you - the handle screwing is easy to grip.

I charged it when I first got it December 19. I used it a couple of times to clean the shower floor. Then I hung it up and left it. This morning, I turned it on and it still had 2 out of 3 charging lights lit. Pretty impressive.
