Before he died

susandennisBefore he died, Howeird (of LJ and, briefly Dreamwidth, and Howeird.com) got me hooked on Mahjong solitaire. He warned me at the time and I did not heed. Then he died and now I can only bitch at him via ESP(n). But, I am well and truly hooked. This version has a daily puzzle and my goal is 3 stars on every day. January was fine except for a couple of days and one day that was just a bitch. I finally got 3 stars on it last night. It's ridiculous how addicted I am. The addiction will pass ... on to another game. But, for now, as I waste time on this one, I can hear Howard chuckling from beyond.
And, yep, got my 3 stars for today, thanks.
The cats decided that we should get up earlier than normal this morning. And, now, they've changed their minds and are napping.
More streaming adventures. I got Fubo for the Mariners. But, I got it early for local news. Last night I turned it on to discover that my local news station of choice is no longer on Fubo. As of January 30, Fubo and a whole group of CBS affiliates got a divorce and mine was in the mix. Not huge. I really only watch it to keep tabs on my neighbor down the hall who has been a reporter there for 30 years. I guess I'll just have to rely on seeing her in the hall. Their news isn't that great anyway. Weirdly, the best local TV news we have is on the station that is the Fox affiliate and they are fine with streaming on whoever will have them.
My knee situation is healed. I think. I'm getting back on the treadmill today and, assuming all goes well, I think I'll also go over to Goodwill. I have a car full of donations and a couple of things on my Goodwill list.
So yeah, just a regular, normal... checking the calendar... Wednesday. AND, I already flipped the page on my paper (New Zealand) calendar. Go me.
