This n that
Mar. 2nd, 2023 08:09 amThis morning my blood glucose was 86. A personal best. Whew.
In other household health news, I realized yesterday that since I'm not running Biggie into the vets every few months for one tragedy or another, I had no idea when his (or Julio's) next vaccine was due. So I sent the vet an email asking and got a lovely response the net of which was mid-September for both. Getting them both into the carrier could be hilarious. I might even try. Be great to make one trip instead of two. I have a while to think about that.
And speaking of cats... they have abandoned one of the litter boxes. The original one is big and in a lovely cabinet in the sewing room. It's perfectly disguised. When they do use it, they kick litter all over the place. But, otherwise, it's fine.
The newer one is a deep bin that they get into from the top. It's in the bedroom. It's a whole lot tidier and easier to keep tidy. But it's not concealed. They used both equally for months but now they have pretty much designated the top loader is THE favorite. I'm not at all sure why and they won't say. But, I'm fine with having only one box that has to be cleaned every single day. The other one I can check every once in a while. Also less mess.
Today I have a few things that need to be done around here but mostly I'm going to work on my sweater. I had to rip out the pocket structure last night but then got solidly on track. Then it's on to the sleeves. I have plenty to watch on TV - plus there is a baseball game - while I knit.
I'll need to walk the hall a few times but I think I can do that. I mean I know I can, the question is will I and the answer is yep, I think so.
