susandennisI have a new robe and it is making me very happy. In the mornings, I put on a robe and come out to the living room/kitchen and feed cats and feed me and internet for a couple of hours. Then I treadmill and then I shed the robe and get dressed.
I have one that is ok. BUT I wanted a backup and I wanted better than ok. I ordered a lot of princes from Amazon that turned out to be frogs. I am fat and I have fat arms and I wanted soft and long with a zipper and pockets that fit me. Finally, I found one that met all my criteria. And I'm wearing it this morning and it's making me very happy.
I need to go out today for food. Well, need is strong. I could get by without but I think I'll walk over to Uwajimaya and pick up something for lunch and dinner. Steps.
Today's baseball is on TV. Yeah! And regular TV (well, Fubo) not MLB. MLB.TV is very flakey. It' drops out about 3 times per game. Annoying. Fubo is pretty solid. Plus, it's our own broadcasters. Most of the MLB.TV games I've seen this year have been telecasts from the other teams which has been interesting. The quality of baseball broadcasters seems to be either very interesting and excellent OR very ShutTheFuckUp.
Probably I will finish the sweater I've been knitting today. Usually when you finish knitting a sweater, there is a ton of very fiddly and annoying finishing work. The yarn ends need to be hidden, the seams need to be sewn, etc. But this pattern is crafted in a way that when I finish up the second sleeve, the whole sweater will be done. I love this. I might well make another one of her patterns next.
OMG Biggie was peacefully sleeping on the couch when Julio came out from wherever he was and tried to crawl in with him. Biggie was NOT having it!! Snipping and hissing and Julio couldn't believe it. Finally there was a chase and a run and then some playing and making up and now, 10 mins later, they are best friends again. Seriously, those two live in the most fascinating world.
It's windy and rainy out and that should discourage me from going out but if I do, I can skip the treadmill and I really really really want to skip the treadmill. So now I'm off to brush my teeth and bundle up. Probably I'm going to regret this.
