good news/bad news eyeglasses edition

My glasses keep the hood of my raincoat from falling over my face. Nice!!

My glasses do not have windshield wipers. Ooops.

To get from here to Uwajimaya, I got across the football stadium parking lot, up the elevator and then two more blocks. Sometimes, not often, but sometimes, there are people living in the elevator. Today it was pouring rain, so of course, there was a guy sleeping in there.

I try to avoid going up steps always BUT today I did two and a half flights. Slowly but I did it. Mid way home I realized that my watch was still on night mode. "FUCK ME with an egg beater if I went all this way without any credit!" But, thankfully, the watch came through and Fitbit had all the nums in there including the steps.

I got mongolian beef - enough for one meal to eat and one meal to freeze and poke tuna for at least two meals. My delivery meals come tomorrow. I'm in good shape meal wise. And steps wise. I'm taking the rest of the day off.

Isn't it annoying that our glasses do not come with wipers OR defrosters?

OR defoggers! I'm still drinking coffee the wrong way and get all fogged up. Buy. I am getting better.

Gosh yes! I got all sweaty this morning picking up yard debris and when I went in the house my glasses got all fogged up. So annoying.

The worst is trying to eat ramen noodles. I wear my glasses all day, but usually have to take them off to eat ramen.

I've heard cleaning your glasses with Rain-X helps the rain bead off better, but I've never tried it.

He didn't exactly say that, but jwg was annoyed when he got back from his second unsuccessful attempt to pick up the mail¹ and realized that he'd neglected to take his phone and therefore didn't get credit for the steps.


¹The mailboxes for our building are a couple of buildings away (indoors), and can't be accessed while the mail is being delivered, which seems to take a surprisingly long time. Also, we'd just gotten back from a week away, so we knew we'd have a fair amount of mail, including a medication that I had run out of.)

I love that you have such good inside walking options. But, not good on the walking for no credit. There otta be a law.
