susandennisI did not so much sleep last night but rather slipped into a coma. All this running around and then thinking did me in.
After I got back from the fix it place, I set about getting my phone back into good working order. The basics didn't take too long but this time I wanted everything set up correctly and fully. Little things turned into big ones. In order to get my Capital One card into my 'wallet' I had to take a picture of the back and front of my license. I couldn't take one and upload it, I had to use their extremely inadequate app. It took forfreakin ever to get ones they would accept.
Then I had to log into every other app to make sure I had access and tell them from now on, use my thumb. Thankyoujesus for biometrics! There was a time when setting up a new android phone from an old one was good but not everything transferred - game scores, for instance and folder structures. But now all of that just comes right over. It's pretty cool. Exhausting but cool.
And Google Voice. My Google Voice telephone number is one that I have had for more than 30 years now. I ported it over to Google Voice years ago. Ideally when someone calls either that number OR the one associated with my SIM card, my phone will ring but it is a tricky bit to set up. And I get calls so infrequently that I don't realize when it is not set up correctly and miss calls - like once when Biggie was in surgery! But, I think it's all set up correctly now.
And the screen fail has not happened again. So fingers crossed.
I am tired of the green cat tunnel and am ready to put it away but Julio loves it so much that he naps in there.
I hate all the cat toys and love that the cats love them.
Oh, the ceiling checking people are supposed to be here this morning any time after 8 and it's now 8:30 and I'm still in my robe with my bed hair. I'd better fix that now.
