Brunch was at Coastal Kitchen.

The bloody mary was a little too spicy. We shared a delicious cinnamon roll. Bill had eggs benedict and I had croque madame.

The service was really good and the food was really really good. It wasn't crowded and they had seats in the bar so no small children (although we did hear - very briefly a screaming baby from the other section).

All in all. Excellent.

I checked out their menu. That croque looks awesome. Much better than Petit's.

I do not grasp this concept, even though jwg sometimes makes a similar complaint about my bloody marys.

Eggs Benedict is one of my favorite things to order when we have breakfast out (which means when we're traveling). We've made it at home on a few special occasions, but hollandaise is fussy to make and hard to get right.
