Very not happy birthday finding

I saved out some of the foam tiles from the kitchen so that I could test them (for size and placement) out on the terrace. Yesterday I moved them from the closet where they were in the way and left them on the bench.

This morning, I discovered that Biggie had snacked on them! Fuck. He never bothered the ones in the kitchen at all so I did not even think he'd eat them. It does appear as if he simply gnashed his teeth into the corners. There is one large-ish piece missing but I found one large and two small pieces on the floor.

And he scarfed down breakfast and begged/ate his usual way too many treats. But if he throws up, unless it has foam in it, I'm going to kill him. Cat surgery is NOT on my birthday wish list.

In other news, even after a 7 day break, I still hate the treadmill but I did it so there.

Even Julio there you might still have to medicate Biggie for his PICA syndrome. I am surprised though your vet or one that is still writing papers hasn't wanted to include Biggie in a study for treating PICA.

I feel your "cat who eats non-food items" pain. My Max is addicted to plastic bags (which I assiduously keep away from him), and he also likes to lick my bedsheets. Crazy animal.

Hope Biggie will be well. He is in my very best thoughts.
