The vet says...

Biggie threw up again so I took him to the vet. My plan was to get an xray that showed no foreign bits. But, the vet said it was too soon and he likely had food in his stomach. I should bring him home and watch him. If he throws up tonight, come back tomorrow after 10 and they will xray. They gave him fluids in hopes of helping him pass anything that he might have in him.

He was so not a happy camper and cried all the way there and all the way back. Julio had a heart attack watching me stuff Biggie into the carrier. Stress all around!

But, in the vet's office he was very cuddly towards me. He hopped up onto the chair next to mine and rubbed against me. He hissed at the vet and the tech, but was ok when I was standing there next to him. Now Julio is glued to him sniffing all those vet smells and Biggie's looking for any Temptations he may have missed.

A year ago, it is likely I could not even have gotten into the vets at 5 pm. They generally stopped taking patients after about 2 or 3 and the wait times were hours and hours. But, now things are way less frantic. I was in and out in an hour. The rush hour traffic was more of a problem.

So now we wait. The vet said to not feed him after about 8 and if he throws up, no breakfast.
