It's the little stuff

It's interesting to me that the cats abandoned the bed in the sewing room that my brother was using the minute he left.

My eyeglass boat was a total fail. Easy to pop them in there but during the night they made their way out and under the bed. Rethinking...

That is a project for today. The drawer next to the bed needs to be organized. It is a black hole drawer. Stuff goes in never to be found again. I need to organize it in a way that it will stay organized and I can find shit and I can add the eyeglass boat. On the up side, the cats do keep my surfaces tidy.

Also today, I am going out. Goodwill drop off and then grocery for the now handful of items on my list. No need to go to the Fancy market. I have meals in house but need produce, ice cream and cool whip - the essentials. But I am absolutely going to go do it today.

The Mariners lost last night which is ok. Now we no longer are carrying the stressful burden of undefeateness. Whew. On the downside the amazing pitcher we bought for mega bucks from the Blue Jays pitched with the same skill possessed by my dead grandmother (either one of them actually). Sigh.

Now, Treadmill, shower, out the door.

Oh! Too bad the eyeglass holder didn't work out. I just keep one of my hard glasses cases on my nightstand.

Likewise, the Red Sox' star pitcher, making his first start at Fenway after about three years spent almost entirely on the injured list for one reason or another, completely blew up, giving up three homers and seven runs all told in three innings. Fortunately, the Sox, with a huge assist from the Orioles' left fielder, pulled out a 9-8 win.
