My doctor gave me a prescription for some cream for the seborrheic dermatitis (basically dandruff of the skin) on my face. Humana says 'nope, we no longer cover that stuff'. Yesterday, it was bugging me so much I sent a MyChart message to him asking if there was a Plan B. I got a note back pretty quickly from another doctor explaining that mine was out until next week but he sent in a prescription for something else. Nice. Except I forgot to ask for it to be sent to someplace local so now the new stuff is not arriving until Friday. It's free through the online pharmacy but I would have minded a small payment to get it sooner. lesson learned. Not critical.

Today's baseball game isn't until 3.

I have the goods for more cool whip cookies and a better plan. So I think that's on the agenda.

I have the weirdest recurring dream thing. In my dreams, I cannot operate my phone. I either cannot find the number or the font is too small to see what I want or I'm calling and the call won't go through. This phone malfunction thing happens a lot. Last night one of the functions I use all the time on phone would not work and I couldn't figure out why. Me and my phone. The stuff of dreams.

I skipped the treadmill yesterday for no good reason so now I need to get on it before skipping becomes a habit.

Hello Susan,
My dermatologist told me to use Nizoral shampoo that is sold over the counter for this condition. Wash hair daily. Put on dry hair 15 min before washing in shower for at least a month until no flaking once no flaking use a couple times a week. Wash face and eye brows with Nizoral morning and night for a month and then once again a few times a week. This cleared it up and it is easily available.

thanks, james. Nizoral is mostly Ketoconazole which is a cream that my insurance does actually cover and i use it a lot but i also need the other. from what I understand Ketoconazole helps keep it at bay and the other helps with the itching and peeling.

My youngest daughter has seborrheic dermatitis on her scalp. The only thing that helps her is the coal tar shampoo. I'm glad you got a quick response & now have a different option for your condition!

I have that same thing happen with my phone in my dreams all the time. So frustrating, sometimes it'll feel like hours trying to get somewhere or look something up.
