susandennisWhen you change where/how you want to make your Amazon return, you have to actually cancel the return and start a new one. BUT, I didn't want to cancel the vacuum return because it was predicated on an exchange (or vice versa) and I didn't want to fuck that up. So. Amazon chat. Their bot tries to keep you from a real person but I'm not afeared a no bot. My real person, once I explained the deal, said, no sweat. It's complicated. Just keep the original. Donate it or give it away if you don't want it.
This is why I shop/love Amazon.
It's the charger that's broken and I can pick up another one of those for $10 if I want two hand held vacs.
And I forgot to report on eyeglasses. After extensive testing of eyebuydirect, zenni and zeelool, I'm happy to report a winner. Zeelool! Now, this is for my progressive prescription and includes transition lenses (automagic sunglasses).
Zeelool is not only the cheapest but also the fastest. All three did great glasses. But Zeelool wins for sure.
I got a great salad at the fancy market last week - snap peas, onions and steak - all marinated in a light dressing. They did not have it today but... hold my beer. I got onions from the salad bar, steak from the prepared foods section and snap peas in produce. I had some nice spicy peanut dressing and the whole thing is marinating now in my fridge. PLUS, there's a nice piece of steak left over to have with some potatoes and snap peas later. Win Win.
I picked up a few more things at the store but my goals now are to get fewer meals and make more trips so that's how I shopped this time.
Today's baseball game starts in two hours. I think I'll do an episode of Night Agent.
