Good news and fuck me

susandennisSo, they did show at 1:30. The guy fixing the pipe told me his plan (dry fit it so I can remove if necessary - perfect) and went to get the parts.
Bob, the install guy got to work putting in the wifi gizmo. While he's opening up the unit, I look a the box. It's a fucking wall thermostat. I say... 'this looks like a wall thermostat but it's for the phone app, right?'
Wrong. Plus Bob says he double checked and asked this morning if that was the right thing and was told I wanted a thermostat. I have a paper trail of my telling them that NO I do not want a thermostat. I want the phone app.
Holy fuck me.
Bob says they don't expect to see them before July. Email off to all involved to, once again, state what I want and expect them to deliver.
But, on the bright side, Bob gave me several excellent usage tips and hints and cleared up some mysteries surrounding the remote control. The temperature it shows is NOT the temperature of the room, it is the temperature you want to set for.
So. Stress if over for the day but also any desire to go anywhere. I should go out somewhere but I don't wanna.
