To worry or not to worry

This morning, Biggie ate his breakfast as usual and then promptly just threw it up. But then he followed that with begging for treats, chasing Julio throughout the house, demanding more breakfast and then chasing Julio again. WTF, cat?? He did throw up on the kitchen counter which was way easy to clean up. He does not seem to have any trouble with his second breakfast. Very weird.

Yesterday I heard a loud bang and Julio emerged shortly after from the kitchen. I figured he landed on the dish drainer full of dishes. When I when back to the bedroom to go to bed, I discovered the TV dangling off the dresser held there by its cord. My guess is that Julio or both of them tried to use the TV as a landing pad. No damage but geesh.

I have not gotten anything from the attorney - not even her invoice for her retainer- which does not make me happy. I have this silly little expectation that when someone says they are going to do something with no time frame attached and no reason for delay, that they will do it promptly. Especially when it means money in their pocket.

A simple 'nice to have met you' email would have been lovely and bought some time. Crickets buys nothing but resentment from me. Now I'm second guessing my decision to hire her, assuming this is her modus operendi.

My plans today include a trip to the fancy market. I don't need much. I have baseball games (so plenty of eats) on Saturday and Sunday. I could get by but I need bread and could use a meal and a snack and an outing so why not.

No baseball today.

FWIW, sometimes Bonnie eats just a little too fast and throws it right back up. It has happened a few times and her behavior afterward (except for the part about chasing Julio) sounds pretty much like Biggie's.

My cat Duckie is a frequent barfer (she used to not be when she was young fwiw) after eating and it's just her thing, I guess. Sometimes she'll eat too much, barf, sometimes she'll not eat enough, barf, and sometimes she'll just get hairballs and barf them all up lol. the rest of her day goes as normal and she acts like she didn't make a mess of things pfft.
It sounds like Biggie might be on the path to being a barfer. I hope not because it's annoying, but it's always a good sign when there's nothing attached to the barfing.
