When I got the prescription for that steroid cream for my face, the doctor said to be careful and only use if really needed and never for more than a week. 'It can cause thinning of the skin'.

No shit. I only used it for 3 days. Last night I used a breathe right strip on my nose (one for sensitive skin) as I have done hundreds of times. This morning I pulled it off like normal only this time it took a patch of skin with it!! Just a top layer and no bleeding but OUCH. Plus no more breathe right strips for me for a while.

At least the stuff works, all my crusty patches cleared right up. But, for sure that doctor was on the nose! (see what I did there????)

Hahahaha. I got the parking pass. I really feel sorry for Jathan the building manager. His email said he needed our vehicle license number. While I was there, two different people came for their passes with their drivers license. He's going to be having a long damn day.

Off to Goodwill.

Yes - steroid creams DO thin the skin. About 10 years ago I had this horrid rash and remember this. The doctor also warned me not to use it more than was prescribed. If you overuse it, the rash can return - often worse than before.

For that reason, T didn't want to use steroid cream for her seborrheic dermatitis. She uses miconazole cream instead. It's an antifungal so it attacks the cause instead of just the symptoms as steroids do. It doesn't work quite as quickly as a steroid but T says she was seeing big changes after a couple of days nevertheless. You do have to keep using it every day, but in return it does let you keep all of your skin.

I do see what you did there. I also saw what you did on a recent entry where you talked about the stadium food and it's impact on you: "but draining"

I just didn't have the heart then to show how far in the gutter my brain is.
