winners and losers, repellent and boobs
Apr. 27th, 2023 10:06 amMy plans got side tracked.
TMI
I discovered a large, smelly, red, gross field of irritation under one of my boobs. The other is fine but the one is just gross. Dr. Google says don't wear a bra for several days - I've never worn bras and I think that's what caused it. A nice moist, warm, sheltered area begging for trouble. Dr. Google also said to treat it with the same anti fungal that I use for my other skin issues. So I got into the shower and washed it carefully, dried it, anti fungaled it and then set a piece of old t-shirt between the boob and the chest. Now I wait and be careful.
When I was a teenager waiting for boobs, the test for Do You Need A Bra Yet? was a pencil. If you could put a pencil under your boob and it stayed there (held by the boob), you were in bra territory. Year after year, I dropped pencils right and left and finally gave up. I saved a ton of money and never had to worry about VBS* which used to be a major faux pax until it became vogue. *Visible Bra Straps.
Then I quit smoking and quit dieting and got majorly fat and some of that fat gave me bobs!! But, by that time, I didn't care and let 'em hang. And that's how we got to today. Once this heals up, I think I'll get one of those soft sleeping bras and keep the boobs off the chest.
Julio insists on pawing at my window shades. They are mechanical and do not take kindly to being pawed. It is very expensive to get them re aligned/reset which will have to happen if he keeps at it.
I use them nearly every day in Summer. So I have to fix before then. The spray bottle is not effective. He's kind of afraid of the bottle but if you actually spray him, he LOVES it. Instead of running away, he runs into the spray.
Voice commands were not fixing. So I went to Amazon and got some cat repellent spray and damn if it doesn't appear to be working!!! It wasn't instant, but after a few mins, he laid off the blinds totally. He went over to the chair to see if he could fuck up the blinds near it and same thing. He pawed once and then decided the smell was too much. It's not unpleasant to me.
So... yeah!!
Ok. Game on and I'm emptying out the coloring drawer.

Date: 2023-04-27 09:17 pm (UTC)but it took so long (last year in fact) for a pencil to finally hold on to one of these bastards, and just one boob for me (grrrreat -_- ). it was a sad day. i'm also team No Bra, and damned if i'll start now just because the pencil holds. fuuuuuuUck that!
dr google is a big proponent of wearing breathable cotton for skin infections like that and i approve of his methods. lol
