My Mom's answer for everything you couldn't fix was 'just don't think about it.' When you are a kid, that answer sucks. When you are a grownup that answer sucks. When it's a bascillion degrees outside and in, that answer sucks. Yeah, I'm hot and crabby. I took a long cool shower and washed my hair. I'm not hot with hot wet hair. On Thursday the high is supposed to only get to 75 degrees. But, Thursday seems as far away as Christmas right now.

I can't even conjur up anything mildly interesting to say... So I'm going with another Mom saying... "if you can't say something nice..." (note: I rarely if ever invoke this one - chock it up to the heat.)

I am so on the same page with you on this one. And I don't have air conditioning.

Luckily, my parents do, and we're headed there today. I'm so so so so ready to be there, if only to be cooler . . .

If sleeping under a single sheet is too warm, then it's too fucking hot.

Not that you need anyone to tell you that. I just think it bears repeating.
