Sunday sneezes
Jun. 3rd, 2023 07:10 pmBiggie is hardly sneezing any more. Now Julio is sneezing. But, both seem fine otherwise. Doing their regular kitty things.
I have two friends coming in July. My car seats only two. I've been stressing over what to do car-wise since 2020 when they were supposed to make this trip. A month or so ago, I decided to rent a car from a guy and park my car on the street in his neighborhood. But, the more I thought about that plan the less I liked it so I killed it. And yesterday signed up for ZipCar. It's going to be one of the more expensive options but also one of the easiest and most flexible. You join for $9 a month then you rent for xx an hour or xxx a day. And you can reserve a car. There are three ZipCars that live in the parking garage across the street and one that lives at the train station in the next block.
I went ahead and reserved a car for several days of their visit. I can change the reservations later if I need to. And there are different kinds of cars to pick from. It's expensive. But, for what I need , I think it will be worth it.
I finished watching the season of East New York. It was a CBS (so now available on Paramount +) show that was on last season. They canceled it but shouldn't have. The one season, however, stands alone just fine now as a limited series. It's a very good police procedural with an outstanding cast.
It balanced out the second horrible Mariner game in a row. Today's game is at 11:30. I hope it does not suck. We have tomorrow off. They deserve a time out.
Today's project is CullTheKittyToys. A lot of them need to be tossed out and the rest need to be organized and I need to enforce my rule about not having them all out at the same time. One to the reasons I've put the culling off is that I know they minute I start will also be the start of kitty chaos. Right now, the toys are all in two ottomans and everything I open one of the cats go nuts. I tried doing it while they were asleep in the closet. They came running.
Regardless, today it will happen.
But, first. Treadmill.
