Quiet Time

susandennisI am gradually losing bed real estate. When I first turn out the light, I'm alone. But as soon as I fall asleep the troops march in. Last night I woke up twice - on my side with Julio glued to my front and Biggie glued to my back. Moving was a process. Generally, Julio will not wake up if I move him. Biggie will wake up and leave at the slightest provocation. It's a bed dance.
This morning Julio is still sneezy but otherwise seems fine and Biggie is over his sneezes completely. So whew.
Sometime this week, I need to go in for a fasting blood draw. My doctor changed cholesterol drugs on me last March and wanted to check in 3 months. The lab opens very early and so that's when I usually go in. I thought it best to skip Monday so I'll likely go get it done tomorrow so I can check it off my list.
Today I might go pick up my prescriptions at Costco - today or Thursday. Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be too hot to be schlepping across that asphalt parking lot.
Oh they just sent out the schedule for the shoring up our terraces. I'm Thursday. BUT, I'm guessing it might be earlier. They never did send out a 'get your shit off the terrace' note. Those instructions were in the middle of one of two PDFs sent out and labeled update. I'm guessing many did not get the memo. I already volunteered my unit for if they needed to skip somebody's else's and needed a fill in.
So, until the work is done, I kind of expect them any time.
Which is fine. I've got no big plans. There won't even be a Mariner loss today as we all get a break from horrible baseball until tomorrow night.
Today is a big day for Apple people as they have their annual Announce New Shit day. I always have a love/hate relationship with the event. I really really don't care what Apple does or says and now Twitter and newsletters and RSS feeds will be full of Apple today and tomorrow.
On the up side, since I have zero use for any of their stuff, it will save me a bundle. o' cash. (It's not really product announcements anyway but still, no temptations.)
Ok, now I have frittered away enough time. I think I'll get dressed and go Costco.
