susandennisThere is no ballgame. I've got no errands. They may even come put my posts in out on the terrace today. So today is a home day.
Probably a good day for laundry.
The sun is behind the clouds so I can have the blinds up all the way and the cats are feeling good and feeling good about no blinds!
WELL... we just had a little wrinkle.
The guys showed up to do my terrace! There's this head guy on the crew and one day, months ago, he got chewed out by one of the residents. I did not know this when I ran into him down in the garage and thanked him for how considerate his team was of me and my cats and my house. A lot of his team do not speak english so I wanted him to let them know. He told me about getting chewed out and how I had made it all better. We've been BFFs since then.
I never did figure out how to get my shelves out of here. Honestly, I didn't try too hard. I probably could have broken them down and removed them one by one but, instead, I put a notice on the bulletin board offering them for free. No takers.
This morning, when the guys came in here, I told the head guy that I had a wrinkle and pointed out the shelves. He said "you want it gone?" YES!! He told the guys something in Spanish and voom! It was gone! Then he told his assistant - "let's just get it downstairs- if someone wants to take it home, great - if not, we'll dump it. WHEW!!
THEN his guys, setting up, took down the curtain rods, which I really wanted down but didn't even know could be taken down!
This is a win win win win.
Hilariously, I hadn't even gotten dressed yet. Fortunately, my house robe looks more leisure than house robey. But, I do think I'll go brush my teeth.
