Lights out? Nope

susandennisI was in the middle of a zoom call this morning - one that I needed to have both my audio and video running. All was going well, until it was not. All of a sudden the TV (which had a screen saver running) and the computer died. And my recliner's juice was gone. And my phone charger wasn't charging... But, weirdly, the lights were on. I checked an the a/c was running... what was happening??? I downloaded zoom and hooked back in on my phone and then once I was back in the meeting, realized that the cats had unplugged the plug! And that plug was to the power strip that controls the rest.
On the up side, it was the first time I'd ever tested the battery backup to my recliner. Works fine. so yeah. The TV going off is a different deal. For some reason, when using the screensaver from the Google Chromecast, it powers off after 15/20 mins. I did not notice this until today. Now I know. It just did it again.
So Zoom call done and now I have a list of other things that I want to get done today. Most are online but also Goodwill!! I am a little light on meals but I think I can squeak by til Friday when there is another Mariner game and then go maybe Saturday.
Last night's game was a blast. Frank went with me and the staff at the Press Club was in fine form. A couple of foul balls got perilously close. We won very handily. The food was fab as always. It was just fun.
Now I need to get to my list. Back later. OHHH, yes, the USPS package arrived in yesterday's delivery. Whew.
