The Mariners game starts later tonight - 7:10. And there will be fireworks after. I was trying to noodle out how they were going to have aftergame fireworks when often, now, when the game is over, it is still daylight. It takes about 30 minutes for them to get set up after the game but still. On a cloudless day, daylight lingers a looooooong time. But, between the later start and the 30 minutes, there should be enough dark.
Last time they had fireworks plus drones. The drones are so much better - way less bullet/war sounding and very pretty. I like the show enough to stick around for it and I probably will tonight.
But, that means an early light lunch so I can save my hungry for the good stuff. I have some sewing I'd like to do today and I'm really getting into this crochet project.
They are tearing out the terraces on the 5th floor. The terraces up there are about twice the size of mine so extend over my living room but they are only working on the outer half since that's where the problem is. Anyway, yesterday, it was so loud for so long. It must be brutal to be up there cause it's no fun down here but, hopefully, the loudest bit is over. I can hear them up there this morning but not the constant sawing and drilling and pounding of yesterday. They are taking the Monday holiday off but then working longer hours the rest of the week.
I think I'll go sew first and then treadmill. That will, hopefully, break up the sitting for long stretches. But, probably not. Regardless, I need to distract Julio before he ruins my blinds.
